[Satellite Today – 06-04-08] Vizada will offer Iridium’s OpenPort services globally boosting its maritime portfolio of services, Vizada said June 4.
Vizada will combine the Iridium OpenPort service with the Vizada Solutions portfolio, which means it will provide a more comprehensive range of communications solutions to the maritime community. Iridium OpenPort has an always-on, standard Ethernet connection and three voice lines that can be used simultaneously.
Vizada will offer a number of service packages that bundle data usage and voice minutes for a monthly fee with larger-volume voice and data packages offering progressive per-unit discounts.
