[Satellite Today – 5-5-08] Com Dev USA LLC has been granted regulatory approval from the Committee for Foreign Investment in the United States to acquire L-3 Communications’ passive microwave devices line, Com Dev announced May 5.
The passive microwave devices product line has more than 35 years of experience designing and producing space qualified passive microwave components including multiplexers, filters, switches and ancillary components for more than 100 U.S. satellite programs.
Com Dev expects the $12.2 million acquisition to close by May 9.
