[Satellite Today – 4-9-08] BSkyB has appointed Andrew Griffith CFO, the pay-TV operator said April 7.
Griffith replaces Jeremy Darroch, who assumed the role of CEO after the departure of James Murdoch.
Separately, Danny Rimer has joined the BSkyB board as an independent non-executive director. Rimer is a general partner of the venture capital firm Index Ventures, where he has overseen investments in media and Internet companies including Skype, Last.fm, Spot Runner, Lovefilm and Joost.
