Batelco Leases Capacity On ABS-1 For VSAT Services

Batelco, the main telco in Bahrain, entered into an agreement with Asia Broadcast Satellite (ABS) for capacity on the southern Ku-band beam of the ABS-1 satellite to provide VSAT services in the Middle East and Asia Pacific. ABS also will provide a backup service using its VSAT support center in Hong Kong.
