Sidus Space Names Eric Gillenwater as Chief Commercial Officer

Sidus Space has appointed Eric Gillenwater as chief commercial officer, the company announced Thursday. Most recently, Gillenwater served as vice president and business head of Global Carrier & Enterprise for OneWeb, where he was responsible for all aspects of global commercial strategy and operations across multiple verticals. Prior to OneWeb he worked for Bharti Airtel. 

“Eric’s extensive commercial and international experience provides unique insights to further expand our offerings, while also propelling the expansion of Sidus’ data services revenue stream as we prepare to actualize on the launch of our multi-mission satellite constellation,” said Carol Craig, founder and CEO of Sidus Space. 

Sidus Space, formerly Craig Technologies Aerospace Solutions, manufactures hardware supporting customers including the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Defense, Northrop Grumman, Leidos, Aegis, and L3Harris, in areas that include launch vehicles, satellite hardware, and autonomous underwater vehicles.

The company is now developing the LizzieSat constellation, a multi-mission constellation to support custom payloads and missions. Sidus Space has customer agreements for LizzieSat with the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), Mission Space, and Dawn Aerospace.
