[Via Satellite 07-06-2016] Measat has launched South East Asia’s first dedicated 24/7 HD electronic sports “eSports” channel eGG, for pay-TV operators from its Measat 3a satellite at 91.5 degrees east. eGG stands for “Every Good Game,” and has content such as video game tournaments, walkthroughs, expert guides, documentaries, game house tours and more. Astro Malaysia produces the channel, which taps into Asia’s eSports market — an area of fast growth particularly among Millennials.
