Lite Coms has recieved a $22 million contract from an unnamed government and defense customer to provide satellite communications to support operational readiness.
Lite Coms is an integrator and manufacturer of tactical communications and has nearly 10,000 VSAT terminals deployed. The company’s portfolio includes deployable satcom terminals, mobile communications systems, and integrated solutions.
The July 22 announcement was light on details, but Lite Coms said the contract will support maintaining reliable connectivity “in complex and dynamic conditions.”
“This award reflects the confidence our customer has in Lite Coms’ ability to deliver secure, resilient, and rapidly deployable communications solutions,” said Nate Giordano, director of Program Management at Lite Coms. “We are proud to support this mission and remain committed to ensuring satcom users have access to the capabilities they need, wherever operations take them.”
