[Via Satellite 05-16-2016] GATR Technologies, a subsidiary of Cubic Corporation, has received an engineering services order valued in excess of $5 million to support the U.S. Army’s Transportable Tactical Command Communications (T2C2) program, under its Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR), Phase 3 Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The T2C2 program provides voice and data communications in the early phases of joint operations, and in later operational phases it provides communications at the tactical edge. The services award will enable GATR to integrate and test the T2C2 inflatable satellite antenna terminals with software systems in preparation for Product Verification Testing (PVT), logistics demonstration and operational testing.

In addition to the services award, GATR delivered an initial 10 inflatable satellite antenna terminals to the Project Manager Warfighter Information Network–Tactical (PM WIN-T) in support of the T2C2 program for more than $3.2 million. This first order for five small-sized and five medium-sized terminals is part of the Army’s program of record for next-generation, early-entry communications, and will be used for testing. If the government exercises all full rate production purchase orders, the T2C2 effort could bring more than 780 GATR terminals to the field.
