[Satellite Today 08-26-08] DataPath Inc. has been awarded a contract to continue providing field services for DataPath Deployable Ku-band Earth Terminals (DKET) at a communications hub in Iraq, the company announced Aug. 26.
The DKET systems were built and installed by DataPath in March 2005 and are used by the U.S. military as satellite communications hubs that deliver high-bandwidth capabilities on the battlefield.
DataPath will continue the support work under a $1.9 million contract from U.S. Central Command.
