[Satellite Today – 5-13-08] MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA) has been awarded a contract by Boeing Co. for an information system for the International Space Station (ISS), MDA announced May 13.
MDA will provide two spare sets of S-band communication subsystems designed to provide voice and data links between astronauts aboard the ISS and Earth.
The contract is valued at $21 million.
