[11-02-07 – Satellite Today] SSC has signed a contract to provide the China Meteorological Administration with a meteorological satellite, SSC announced Nov. 1.
The satellite, called FY-3A, will be launched in spring 2008 and provide satellite data reception, data processing and data distribution through a ground-based optical fiber network.
Financial details of the deal were not released.
