Ball Aerospace Hires Aidan Fitzgerald as VP of Finance

Ball Aerospace has appointed Aidan Fitzgerald as its new vice president of Finance, starting later this week. The company made the announcement, Jan. 27. Fitzgerald will lead all financial-related and contractual activities for Ball Aerospace, including overseeing budgets, leading financial planning and analysis, providing financial guidance and making recommendations for the company’s long-term financial profitability.

Fitzgerald has held several roles at Raytheon and McKinsey & Company and was most recently the vice president of Finance at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), where he led finances for SAIC’s National Security and Space Sector.

“Aidan brings extensive knowledge of the industry and a strong background in financial operations and strategy to his new role. As a leader, he places an importance in fostering engagement to provide an inclusive environment and empowering the team — values that align with our Ball Aerospace culture,” David Kaufman, president of Ball Aerospace, said in a statement.
