SatixFy Communications names Ido Gur as its new CEO, the company’s second permanent CEO in less than a year. Gur joins SatixFy after Saguna, the edge cloud computing company he led, was acquired.

Gur has more than 20 years of senior management experience in a range of industries, including telecommunications, mobile, networking, wireless and radio frequency (RF) communications. He was also previously CEO of VocalTec Communications.

Gur is the second new CEO for SatixFy after co-founder and CEO Yoel Gat died in April 2022. He succeeds David Ripstein who had been CEO since June 2022

“SatixFy’s strong technological backbone and IP, combined with its highly experienced team and dedicated employees, make it a very attractive proposition with significant short and long-term potential. I believe that SatixFy is uniquely positioned to capture the opportunities in the fast-growing satellite communications market, and I look forward to realizing our potential,” Gur commented.

SatixFy is an Israel-based satellite technology company and develops satellite payloads, user terminals, and modems, based on chipsets that it develops in-house.
