OneWeb Hires New Chief Legal Officer

Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation operator OneWeb has hired Nadia Hoosen as its new chief legal officer and group company secretary. She will serve as a member of OneWeb’s executive committee abd be responsible for leading all legal and regulatory aspects of the business and corporate transactions including M&A, legal, regulatory, privacy compliance, risk & compliance, executive remuneration and corporate governance/company secretarial.

Hoosen has two decades of legal and regulatory expertise in the U.K. technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. She previously served as chief legal officer and company secretary for British motoring association AA plc, where she led the legal and regulatory aspects of the organization’s public-to-private sale to Warburg Pincus and TowerBrook. Her resume also includes more than eight years at TalkTalk Telecom and Carphone Warehouse Group.
