Phasor Adds Satellite Industry Veteran to Board of Directors

Veteran satellite legal and financial expert Phillip Spector  joined the board of directors for antenna systems manufacturer Phasor.

A former attorney with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, and executive vice president and board member for Intelsat, Spector’s career spans more than 30 years. At Intelsat, he was responsible for legal and regulatory matters in the $16.6 billion sale of Intelsat between private equity groups, and oversaw more than $25 billion in financing transactions. He is also a member of the Society of Satellite Professionals International’s (SPI) “Satellite Hall of Fame.”

“Phillip’s broad experience and leadership in strategic, regulatory, and business aspects of the satellite communications industry will be invaluable in helping us to achieve our vision,” Phasor Chief Executive Officer David Helfgott said in the announcement.
