Goonhilly to expand Australia and Asia-Pacific Business with Bob Gough

Goonhilly Earth Station, a U.K. space company, announced the appointment of Bob Gough as Australia and Asia-Pacific head of business development. Based in Australia, Gough will spearhead commercial expansion for Goonhilly across the region.

Gough brings expertise from working on earth stations, traffic stations operating in various satellite communication bands, and satellite in-orbit testing stations. Because of his technical and commercial expertise, Gough is “the perfect candidate to help Goonhilly expand in the fast-developing Asia-Pacific and Australian markets,” said Goonhilly Chief Executive Officer Ian Jones in the announcement.

The appointment comes days after the establishment of the Australian Space Agency on July 1.
