      – RTNC, La Voix du Peuple from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, left 3798 MHz RHCP temporarily before Christmas. The channel is most likely to be the victim of inadequate uplink equipment rather than a voluntary departure. RTNC has suffered in this way in the past and was off satellite for several months at one time due to equipment failure.

Following strong pressure from the US, Spacecom, the operators of Amos, pulled the plug. In early December 1999 RTS appeared via a Gorizont-31 transponder (11530 MHz RHCP) but by December 22 it had disappeared again.
