Heather Farley

Executive Vice President and Divisional President,
Access Intelligence Business Information Group

Heather Farley is the Divisional President of the Business Information Group. For the past sixteen years, Heather has built and guided a variety of publishing units across multiple high-tech markets. In addition, she has lent her expertise to other areas of the business, including web development, customer service, fulfillment, and production. Currently, Heather runs 4 business units and leads a team of 80 employees who provide professional services and publish 18 newsletters, 3 databases and 8 web sites covering many markets including Defense, Aviation, and Media/PR.

Jennifer Schwartz

Jennifer is responsible for the overall management and strategic business development efforts across AI’s Aerospace group, which include Defense Daily, Aviation Today, Avionics and Rotor & Wings, as well as Via Satellite and Satellite Today. She also manages AI’s as healthcare group. Jennifer has worked at Access Intelligence since 1997 and held previous publisher positions in the defense and energy groups. Jennifer successfully integrated the LDC Forum events into AI’s portfolio in 2006. Previously, Jennifer held sales and marketing positions in the telecom and banking industries. She has a BS degree in Marketing from the distinguished Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. Jennifer also successfully completed ABM’s B-to-B Advanced Leadership Program at Northwestern University in January 2012.

Tish Drake joined Access Intelligence in 2001 as a sales executive for Communications Technology,and spent spent nine years building the Communications Technology brand. Based on her print and e-media success, she was promoted to publisher in 2008. Later, in an effort to utilize Tish’s expertise, she was asked to oversee the management of Avionics magazine and Avionics Today. In 2012, with a proven track record at revenue generation and creating long-term value through new product introduction, she was named publisher of Via Satellite magazine and SatelliteTODAY.com  With more than 16 years of b2b sales, management and marketing experience, she is a seasoned veteran in the publishing industry.

Joe Milroy

Associate Publisher

Joe Milroy has 12 years of experience in business-to-business publishing. As a member of Access Intelligence’s Satellite Group, Joe is responsible for advertising sales through the satellite group’s e-media and print advertising vehicles. Prior to joining Access Intelligence in 2004, he worked for Penton Media, VerticalNet and Penwell Publishing.

Mark Holmes joined AI’s Satellite Group as the Associate Editor late 2006. He had previously been senior editor of Inside Digital TV, and a regularly contributor to Telecomweb for AI. Before joining AI, Mark was deputy editor of leading Euromoney Institutional Investor title Global Telecoms Business, which specialized in interviewing CEOs of leading telcos world-wide. Mark graduated from Humberside University in the early 1990s. During that time, he did a one year exchange programme at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.

Director of Online, Satellite/Aviation/Defense

Julie Blondeau Samuel joined Access Intelligence’s Satellite Group in September 2004. She is responsible for the development and production of the Satellite Group’s Web portals. Prior to this, Julie was Online Producer and Managing Editor of Via Satellite magazine. Prior to joining Access Intelligence, she was a graduate student at the University of Maryland where she earned a Masters in Aerospace Engineering, and at the Ecole Polytechnique Feminine, in France, where she received a Masters in General Engineering. Julie has published numerous research papers.  She was born in France and has traveled in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.

Managing Editor & Digital Strategist, Satellite & Aviation Group

Veronica Magan joined Access Intelligence’s Satellite Group in July 2012. As managing editor of Via Satellite, she is responsible for the development and production of the monthly print and digital magazine. As digital strategist, she is responsible for for the development, execution, and success of digital strategies on Via Satellite and Avionics Magazine. Prior to joining Access Intelligence, se was a graduate student at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications where she earned a Master’s Degree in Magazine, Newspaper and Online Journalism. She was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela.

Jonathan Russo is the Marketing Manager for AI’s Aerospace Group. Jonathan is responsible for event marketing, audience development, email presence and industry alignment across Aviation Today, Avionics and Rotor & Wing, as well as Via Satellite and Satellite Today. He has been in the publishing industry for 4 years, focused on print and online advertising, email marketing and creative design. Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Texas A&M University.

Scott Chase

CHAIRMAN, SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition

Scott Chase entered the satellite industry as a PR executive with Communications Satellite Corporation (COMSAT) in 1981, after leaving The Washington Post where he was a news staffer for five years. In 1986 Chase was hired by Phillips Publishing (PBI) as associate editor of Satellite News, and soon became the editor of Via Satellite magazine. He chaired the SATELLITE conference for more than a dozen years before leaving Phillips to become president and CEO of The Strategis Group, a telecom/wireless market study and consulting firm in Washington, DC.

Jenn Heinold, CEM

Jenn Heinold

Vice President, Events

Jenn Heinold joined the Access Intelligence Satellite Group in 2006 to serve as the lead marketer for the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition and was promoted to Show Director in March 2008. In this capacity, Jenn oversees sales, marketing and operations for the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition. Her expertise in strategic marketing and new business development has contributed to the event’s year-over-year attendance and exhibit show floor growth. Before joining Access Intelligence, she served as Marketing and Communications Manager of GovSec, U.S. Law and Ready! trade shows,  produced by National Trade Productions. She is a member of the Society of Satellite Professionals International (SSPI), International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) and Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO).

She earned a B.A. in Journalism from Penn  State University and still spends most Saturday afternoons in the fall cheering on the Nittany Lions.

Show Director, SATELLITE Conference & Exhibition

Lindsey Fuller joined Access Intelligence in May of 2008 as Marketing Manager of the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition. Lindsey was soon promoted to Marketing Director, overseeing the marketing campaigns for the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition, OilComm, ShaleComm, OR Manager Conference and numerous conferences in the Defense and Aviation markets. Lindsey is now Show Director of the aerospace events at Access Intelligence, including the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition, OilComm, ShaleComm, Hosted Payload Summit and Avionics for NextGen. As Show Director, Lindsey oversees the marketing, sales, operations and content for each event.

Prior to Access Intelligence, Lindsey began her tradeshow career at National Trade Productions on the GovSec, U.S. Law and Ready tradeshows and worked at 1105 Government Information Group as Marketing Manager for numerous government conferences. Lindsey has a BBA in Marketing from the College of William and Mary.

Michael Cassinelli joined the Access Intelligence satellite team in August 2006 as the Exhibit Sales Manager for the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition.  With a strong background in the tradeshow business, Michael has over 5 years experience in the conference and exhibition industry, having managed Tradeshow 200 events for several major DC-based associations.  He earned a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Delaware.

Jessica Davis, CEM, CMP

Senior Operations Manager

Jessica Davis joined Access Intelligence in July of 2009 as Operations Manager for all of the Satellite and Aviation shows. Prior to joining Access Intelligence, Jessica began her career at the Newspaper Association of America where she was the Exhibits and Sponsor Services Specialist working on approximately 10 shows focusing on all aspects of the newspaper industry.  Jessica is currently pursuing a BS in Business Management.
