Heather Farley is the Divisional President of the Business Information Group. For the past sixteen years, Heather has built and guided a variety of publishing units across multiple high-tech markets. In addition, she has lent her expertise to other areas of the business, including web development, customer service, fulfillment, and production. Currently, Heather runs 4 business units and leads a team of 80 employees who provide professional services and publish 18 newsletters, 3 databases and 8 web sites covering many markets including Defense, Aviation, and Media/PR.
Joe Rosone has been focused on business to business publishing and events for more than 20 years. As Vice President and Satellite Group Publisher Rosone is responsible for overseeing business development within the company’s suite of satellite products including events, e-media and print. Prior to joining Access Intelligence (formerly Phillips Business Information), Rosone worked for LRP Publications as well as Gordon Publications. Joe graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 1986 with a BBA in Marketing. He currently is a member of several industry associations including the Society of Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) and the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO).
Jason Bates joined the Access Intelligence satellite team in April 2005. Jason has been a journalist for more than 13 years, and has spent the last 10 writing about the satellite and aerospace industry. Prior to joining Access Intelligence, Bates was a staff writer for both Space News and Aerospace Daily. He earned a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina.
Mark Holmes joined AI's Satellite Group as the Associate Editor late 2006. He had previously been senior editor of Inside Digital TV, and a regularly contributor to Telecomweb for AI. Before joining AI, Mark was deputy editor of leading Euromoney Institutional Investor title Global Telecoms Business, which specialized in interviewing CEOs of leading telcos world-wide. Mark graduated from Humberside University in the early 1990s. During that time, he did a one year exchange programme at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.

Julie Blondeau Samuel joined Access Intelligence's Satellite Group in September 2004 as Managing Editor. She is responsible for the coordination of all publications within the Satellite Group, including the production of the Satellite Group Web portal. Prior to joining Access Intelligence, she was a graduate student at the University of Maryland where she earned a Masters in Aerospace Engineering. Julie has published numerous research papers on the topic of Morphing Technologies for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Prior to that, she received a Masters in General Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique Feminine, in Sceaux, France. Julie was born in France and has traveled in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Jeffrey Hill joined the Access Intelligence Satellite Group in July 2008. Jeffrey comes from a variety of writing and journalistic backgrounds — including news reporting, Web editing, creative writing and design. Prior to joining Access Intelligence, Jeffrey was the Web editor for Next American City magazine and a staff news writer for Philadelphia Weekly, the largest weekly newspaper in Pennsylvania. A graduate of Rowan University with a degree in journalism and writing arts, Jeffrey also holds a degree specialization in Asian studies. He is currently a member of the Society of Professional Journalists.
Scott Chase entered the satellite industry as a PR executive with Communications Satellite Corporation (COMSAT) in 1981, after leaving The Washington Post where he was a news staffer for five years. In 1986 Chase was hired by Phillips Publishing (PBI) as associate editor of Satellite News, and soon became the editor of Via Satellite magazine. He chaired the SATELLITE conference for more than a dozen years before leaving Phillips to become president and CEO of The Strategis Group, a telecom/wireless market study and consulting firm in Washington, DC.
Jenn Heinold joined the Access Intelligence Satellite Group in 2006 to serve as the lead marketer for the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition and was promoted to Show Director in March 2008. In this capacity, Jenn oversees sales, marketing and operations for the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition. Her expertise in strategic marketing and new business development has contributed to the event’s year-over-year attendance and exhibit show floor growth. Before joining Access Intelligence, she served as Marketing and Communications Manager of GovSec, U.S. Law and Ready! trade shows, produced by National Trade Productions. She is a member of the Society of Satellite Professionals International (SSPI), International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) and Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO).
She earned a B.A. in Journalism from Penn State University and still spends most Saturday afternoons in the fall cheering on the Nittany Lions.
Michael Cassinelli joined the Access Intelligence satellite team in August 2006 as the Exhibit Sales Manager for the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition. With a strong background in the tradeshow business, Michael has over 5 years experience in the conference and exhibition industry, having managed Tradeshow 200 events for several major DC-based associations. He earned a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Delaware.
Lindsey Fuller joined Access Intelligence in May of 2008 as Marketing Manager of the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition. Prior to joining Access Intelligence, Lindsey began her career at National Trade Productions on the GovSec, U.S. Law and Ready tradeshows and worked at 1105 Government Information Group as Marketing Manager for numerous government conferences. Lindsey has a BBA in Marketing from the College of William and Mary.
Jill Braun is the Senior Marketing Manager for the Satellite Group print and online products. Jill is responsible for marketing communications support for Access Intelligence’s flagship publication Via Satellite magazine and SatelliteToday.com, the Internet’s leading web site for news and analysis on the global satellite communications market. In addition, Jill is responsible for subscription marketing for SatelliteToday.com and the weekly newsletter Satellite News. Prior to joining the Satellite Group, Jill was in the Aviation and Defense Group at Access Intelligence (formerly PBI Media).
Stuart Bonner joined Access Intelligence’s Satellite Group in August of 2006. In his previous six years at Access Intelligence, he had been circulation promotions manager for the magazine division, circulation manager for the aviation group, and finally, circulation director for Chemical Week and Chemical Engineering. Before relocating to Maryland to join Access Intelligence in 2000, Stuart was fulfillment manager for Hart Publications in Houston, Texas. He graduated with a BA in Radio & Television Communications from the University of Houston.

Frank Battista brings an in depth knowledge of the publishing industry with 25 years of advertising/marketing experience to the team. His focus is on creating new value for advertisers by helping them take full advantage of Via Satellite’s array of marketing products and vehicles. Frank earned a B.A. in Communications and M.S. in Organizational Communications from Shippensburg University, Pennsylvania.

Joe Milroy has 12 years of experience in business-to-business publishing. As a member of Access Intelligence’s Satellite Group, Joe is responsible for advertising sales through the satellite group’s e-media and print advertising vehicles. Prior to joining Access Intelligence in 2004, he worked for Penton Media, VerticalNet and Penwell Publishing.
Patricia Shah joined Access Intelligence's Satellite Group in April of 1987. As Regional Sales Manager, responsible for global advertising space for Via Satellite's Marketplace/Classifieds, Satellite Industry Directory, Satellite Access Guide Wall Charts (Asia-Pacific, North American, Latin American, and EMEA regions), Satellite Transponder Guide, and Satellitetoday.com Marketplace/Classifieds. Prior to joining Access Intelligence, LLC, was Executive Secretary to Presidents/General Managers at General Electric Company/Research Laboratory, TRW, Bell Labs, and Avery Products.
