GlobeCast added an interactive dating channel, Look4Love TV to its global distribution network. The channel will be available on BSkyB‘s platform, uplinked via Eurobird 28.5 degreesE from GlobeCast’s Brookman’s Park teleport. The channel enables individuals to have a short video profile shown on the channel. Viewers can then either leave a message, by phone or text, for those that appeal. The television-based introductions service will be available on EPG (Electronic Program Guide) channel 685 as well as on the Internet.

Look4Love TV director Simon Woolnough explained why the company decided to work with GlobeCast. He commented, “We chose to launch with GlobeCast for a couple of reasons; not only for their flexible, can-do attitude but also for the quality of their people. I dealt with them when I was at the BBC and was thoroughly impressed with their service.”
