Recognizing the upstart but growing market for satellite television services delivered to vehicles such as recreational vehicles, SUVs and minivans, DirecTV Inc. announced a new DirecTV Total Choice Mobile package. The package is available to subscribers using KVH Industries Inc.‘s TracVision A5 low profile automotive satellite TV antenna. The package features more than 125 channels of content and will be available for $39.99 per month for vehicle-only subscribers. Existing subscribers to DirecTV services at their home can get the mobile subscription for an additional $4.99 to their current DirecTV bill.
