Harris CapRock Adds Long Range Wireless Radio to Product Portfolio

[Via Satellite 09-20-2016] Harris CapRock has launched OnePath, a long-range wireless radio service for customers in the cruise, energy and commercial maritime industries. The company says OnePath is complementary to Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) technology, providing higher throughput and increased redundancy.
The radio enables a secure, localized wireless voice and data network complete with traffic management. OnePath provides first and last mile connections and can close links in excess of 160 km with appropriate heights. Licensed or unlicensed spectrum options are available with throughputs of up to 400 Mbps. The radio service is also equipped with operating modes for point-to-point and point-to-multi-point applications.
