Satcom Global Strikes Up Maritime Partnership with Intellian

[Via Satellite 08-18-2016] Satcom Global and Intellian have signed a strategic partnership agreement covering the global supply and distribution of maritime satellite equipment. Under the partnership, Satcom Global will have access to Intellian’s full range of Ku-band, Ka-band and FleetBroadband hardware, supporting the delivery of its portfolio of VSAT and L-band services to maritime customers. The Intellian v100 and v100GX antennas will enable Satcom Global to deliver an “always on” high bandwidth VSAT service.

This partnership includes the use of Intellian’s three strategic service and logistics hubs located in South Korea for the Asia Pacific region, the Netherlands for customers in Europe, and California to provide logistics and service support in the Americas. Satcom Global will hold dedicated stocks in these three Intellian facilities to guarantee clients quick access to hardware as necessary and enable the company to meet deadlines and installation requirements.
