[Via Satellite 09-02-2014] Panama is one of the first countries in Latin America where Inmarsat’s IsatHub connectivity service will be offered. IsatHub launches globally this month, providing a secure network for users within 30 meters of the terminal.

Inmarsat distribution partner MVS USA, will provide 24/7 customer service, sales and technical support in Spanish to customers in Panama through its local partner, Innovatio TSEM. The IsatHub service is available through the Wideye iSavi terminal built by AddValue, which can connect Apple and Android devices through a Wi-Fi connection.

“Panama’s impressive growth rate, dollarized economy, the expansion of the Panama Canal now underway and the rising importance of Copa Airlines as a regional airline have combined to make the country an increasingly important hub for business, increasing the demand for advanced voice and data technologies, such as those offered by the new IsatHub service,” said Deborah Deffaa, CEO of MVS USA.
