Gilat Satellite Networks’ Matchbox Mini Available Immediately

[Satellite TODAY 12-11-12] Gilat Satellite Networks’ Wavestream Ku-band Matchbox Mini Block Upconverter is available immediately, the company announced Dec. 11.
Matchbox Mini incorporates Wavestream’s next generation Spatial advantEdge technology designed to provide higher output power in smaller, lighter weight packages that are more reliable and use less energy, improving mobility and setup time of transportable systems.
“In creating the Matchbox Mini, we leveraged the experience gained in fielding over 7000 40W Ku-band BUCs,” Gilat Satellite Networks North America General Manager Michael Barthlow said in a statement. “The smaller and lighter Mini retains all the features, high reliability and dependability our customers have come to expect, in a more compact and powerful BUC.”
