OilComm Confirms Record Attendance For 2012 Conference

By Jeffrey Hill | November 15, 2012

Satellite TODAY 11-15-12] The OilComm 2012 Conference and Exposition held last week at the Houston Marriott Westchase in Houston had more than 1,350 participants this year – the largest turnout in the show’s history, OilComm Show Director Lindsey Fuller announced Nov. 15.

The three-day conference features educational programming, exhibits focused on providing solutions for the communications, network and IT needs, as well as numerous networking events.
“Couple the increased attendance with a sold out exhibit floor, sold out outdoor exhibit area, and a dual-track conference that covered even more challenges faced in both offshore and remote inland environments, and OilComm is a successful event that has proven once again the need we are filling for the oil and gas communications community,” said Fuller.
OilComm 2013 will take place Nov. 6 through Nov. 8 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. The new venue aims to allow for continued growth on the exhibit floor and outdoor exhibit area, as well as growth in the conference program.
