Numerex Introduces M2M Interactive Platform to Enterprise Markets

[Satellite TODAY 04-04-12] Numerex Corp. has launched a secure machine-to-machine (M2M) interactive platform with new capabilities such as website integration, integrated smartphone applications and support for interactive data, location and messaging services, the company announced April 3.
The platform leverages Numerex carrier-grade infrastructure with geographic redundancy for secure delivery of enhanced M2M connectivity and services. Numerex said its enterprise customers could now incorporate web- and smartphone-based remote management capabilities into their M2M solution with the new platform.
“Our interactive platform can seamlessly serve a myriad of markets where interactivity is critical for the remote wireless monitoring and control of M2M applications," Numerex CTO Jeffrey Smith said in a statement. “These complementary capabilities integrate into our horizontal platform, which includes Numerex’s Network as a Service (NaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) as options for our enterprise customers.”
