Wireless Provider Quantum Joins LightSquared’s Partnership Network

[Satellite TODAY 12-19-11] Wholesale 4G-LTE carrier LightSquared has signed a wholesale network agreement with wireless solutions provider Quantum Networks that will enable Quantum to bundle 4G wireless connectivity with its products, the companies confirmed Dec. 16.
Quantum said its deal with LightSquared would allow the company to become a one-stop-shop for connectivity, expand beyond its traditional offerings and able to generate new recurring revenue streams.
“With LightSquared, we can now go the final mile and deliver the most advanced wireless services to our customers,” Quantum Networks CEO Ari Zoldan said in a statement. “Before, we were only able to meet customers halfway while they scrambled for reliable connectivity. Now we can offer a complete communications solution while also maximizing our revenue opportunity.”
Quantum is LightSquared’s 33rd wholesale customer network that includes wireless carriers, device manufacturers, nationwide retailers, regional phone companies and mobile content providers.
