Satcom Direct to Offer In-flight Tele-medicine Service to FDF Customers

[Satellite TODAY 03-10-11] Satcom Direct and aviation medical services provider AirCare Solutions Group (ASG) have partnered to allow Satcom Direct to exclusively offer ASG’s Access Assistance tele-medicine and travel support services, Satcom Direct announced March 9.
    Satcom Direct FDF customers will be able to subscribe to Access Assistance directly through Satcom Direct with all charges billed on a single invoice. The deal also allows Access Assistance to track FDF aircraft while establishing services that aim to minimize any vulnerability before, during and after each flight.
