Miteq’s MCL Releases MT2100 Airborne Amplifier

[Satellite TODAY 02-25-11] Miteq subsidiary MCL has introduced the MT2100 model high-power airborne amplifier to its TWTA product line, Miteq announced Feb. 24.
    The MT2100’s design was engineered to provide increased efficiency to support airborne applications. The rugged ultra-compact design weighs 25 pounds and can be adapted to military flight qualification requirements.
    Operating at 125 watts in the 6-18 GHz frequency range, the MT2100 features flexible prime power configurations and can operate at 70 degrees Celsius. The TWTA is conduction cooled, but air-cooled or liquid-cooled operations are available.
