Numerex, Cinterion to Offer New M2M Enterprise Solutions in North America

[Satellite TODAY 02-16-11] Numerex has entered into a collaborative partnership with Cinterion to distribute and integrate Cinterion modules across all machine-to-machine (M2M) vertical markets in North America, the companies announced Feb. 15.
    The agreement will combine Cinterion’s portfolio of wireless communication modules with Numerex’s device, network and application service model for its range of integrated services. The combined offering will be targeted to enhancing security systems and automotive and fleet applications to various enterprise customers.
    "Our collaboration enables our customers to streamline integration for a swift time-to-market of M2M solutions, optimizing enterprise operations and, ultimately, improving the bottom line," Numerex COO Michael Marett said in a statement.
