Camgian Contracts Orbcomm for Enterprise Satellite Communications

[Satellite TODAY 12-03-10] Camgian Microsystems selected machine-to-machine (M2M) specialist Orbcomm to provide a global communications platform for Camgian’s industrial asset monitoring solution, Camigan announced Dec. 2.
   Camgian’s Quantum is a wireless industrial operations intelligence platform that aims to support seamless integration of local area sensor networks, satellite communications and back-office analytics software for monitoring remote fixed and mobile assets. Camigan will use Orbcomm’s global network to provide its customers with access to asset intelligence, enhanced logistics operations and supply chain efficiencies to ensure environmentally safe management and disposal of large volume waste oil products.
