Vizada Renews Emergency Services Agreement with TSF

[Satellite TODAY 04-08-10] Vizada has renewed its partnership agreement with non-governmental organization  Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF) to provide mobile satellite communications and training services in 2010, Vizada announced April 7.
    The Vizada solutions and applications will be used for emergency response communication over a variety of mobile satellite terminals and services, including Inmarsat, Thuraya and Iridium.
     Vizada’s training program, VSCP, instructs customers how to utilize prepaid cards for voice calls, email and web browsing, messaging services for email and SMS, cost control services such as web portals to monitor communications traffic and credit in real time, as well as set limits and alerts on traffic, and specific calling numbers to reduce the cost of calling a mobile satellite terminal from a fixed line.
    Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
