Artel Reports Record Revenue in 2008, Record Backlog for 2009

[Satellite Today 01-08-09] Artel Inc., an information technology and managed network services provider, signed $222.8 million in government contract wins in 2008, the company announced Jan. 7.
    The contracts are a combination of re-competes on previous awards and new orders for public sector clients including the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Homeland Security and various other civil agencies.
    “We have diversified our solutions portfolio to meet the evolving network requirements for both the public and private sector,” Abbas Yazdani, president and CEO of Artel, said in a statement.
    The company completed 2008 with a 20 percent increase in revenues and enters 2009 with a record backlog.
