Spacenet, Stratacache Form Strategic Enterprise Alliance

[Satellite Today 10-27-08] Spacenet has formed a strategic alliance program intended to offer integrated digital media solutions to enterprise customers, the company announced Oct. 27.
    Stratacache has joined Spacenet’s Digital Media Alliance as one of the charter members, and the two companies will work together to provide an integrated end-to-end solution to customers. Stratacache will provide its digital signage, IP-BTV, content acceleration, content distribution and content management services, while Spacenet will provide network services to enable cost-effective delivery of content to multiple locations via satellite.
    “With literally hundreds of start-ups competing for a piece of the on-premise digital media ecosystem, finding a proven digital signage or content delivery solution can be daunting,” Spacenet President and COO Glenn Katz said in a statement. “Unlike an individual company with only a single solution to sell, the alliance enables customers to benefit from a broad choice of different solutions tailored to their unique requirements.”
