Premiere Sees Another Executive Leave

By Staff Writer | October 9, 2008

[Satellite Today 10-09-08] Premiere, the German pay-TV operator, has seen another top executive resign as the fallout over inflated subscriber figures continued.
Oliver Kaltner, chief marketing and sales officer, left Premiere after only three months on the job. CFO Alexander Teschner also resigned due to the subscriber number issue and the expected losses that will result.
The operator is in a state of flux after a scandal erupted over bloated subscriber figures. Premiere said Oct. 2 it had only 2.4 million subscribers at the end of September, down from 3.6 million direct subscribers the company claimed at the end of June.
