DataPath Launches New Satcom Terminal

[Satellite Today – 06-05-08] DataPath has launched a new satcom terminal for the U.S. military, the company said June 5.
    The DataPath V-Snap Fly-Away multi-band Satcom terminal is part of the company’s continued focus on developing systems that leverage the U.S. military’s Wideband Global Satcom (WGS), which supports U.S. military operations around the globe by supplementing commercial Ku-band capability with X- and Ka-band capability.
    The V-Snap provides warfighters the flexibility to use the WGS and other military and commercial satellite communications networks to rapidly establish high-bandwidth, everything-over-IP communications capability virtually anywhere.
