[Satellite Today – 4-25-08] IP-Prime signed an agreement to broadcast the NFL Network to carriers using SES Americom’s IPTV service, IP-Prime announced April 25.
The transport agreement ensures that the NFL Network will be available to all IP-Prime operators throughout the United States, though each operator will have to sign individual carriage deals with the NFL Network in order to offer the channel to subscribers.
“We’re very pleased to add the NFL Network to our ever-expanding lineup of outstanding sports programming,” Bill Squadron, president of IP-Prime, said in a statement. “The network is a must have for our IP-Prime operators and their football fan customers. With NFL Network on board, IP-Prime now has more than 30 channels devoted to sports coverage, a key offering of our 300 channel line up.”
