Mitec Receives VSAT Component Order

[Satellite Today – 4-4-08] Mitec Telecom has received a third order to provide its VSAT block upconverter to an unnamed cellular network operator in Africa, Mitec announced April 2.
"We are very pleased to have received another order from this customer, and they have indicated that there is a high probability we will receive additional orders as well," said Robert Mitchell, vice president of global marketing and sales in a statement. "Based on our success with this product line, we are exploring opportunities to provide this customer with a more comprehensive product offering as well."
Mitec has previously delivered orders to the operator in January and March. Financial details were not disclosed.
