Quintech Establishes Research And Development Office

[Satellite Today – 1-23-08] Quintech Electronics and Communications Inc. will establish a research and development office at the University of Pittsburgh Applied Research Center in Harmar, Penn., Quintech announced Jan. 17.
    The office will move research and development closer to engineering and technological talent in the Pittsburgh area. Additionally, Quintech is looking to expand relationships with other educational institutions such as University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, Penn State New Kensington and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, North Pointe campus.
    “In order to facilitate the collaborative engineering and training necessary to develop cutting edge RF products global customers will demand, Quintech needs to reach out to the intellectual capital resources it requires and attract new and diverse engineering talent from the Pittsburgh market,” Daniel Prushnok, president and CEO, said in a statement.
