SES New Skies Appoints New Execs

[10-10-07 – Satellite Today] SES New Skies has added three senior appointments to its management team, the company announced Dec. 10.
    Gerson Souto has been named Senior Vice President, commercial services and will assume general responsibility for the commercial management of SES New Skies existing satellite capacity and service offerings.
    Steve Collar has been named as the operator’s new Senior Vice President, market development. He will oversee the operator’s long-range strategic planning activities in close co-operation with other SES entities.
    In the final management change, Jonas Mattsson will join SES New Skies as CFO at the start of next year. Previously, Mattsson had been CFO of SES Sirius, where he played a key role in developing the Nordic and Eastern European markets for SES Sirius.
