Comtech EF Data Receives Asia Contract

[10-11-07 – Satellite Today] Comtech EF Data Corp. has received $2.6 million in orders to provide satellite communications equipment for a cellular backhaul network expansion in Asia, the company announced Oct. 11.
The orders include a mix of Comtech EF Data products, including the CDM-Qx/L multi-channel satellite modem, the CDM-600/L satellite modem, redundancy switches and converters.
"The exceptional link performance provided by the Comtech EF Data equipment will enable the cellular network provider to cost-effectively expand into remote areas that may have previously been cost-prohibitive," said Fred Kornberg, president and CEO Comtech Telecommunications Corp.
