[8-29-07 – Satellite News Today] DigitalGlobe and Bushnell Outdoor Products will add commercial high-resolution satellite imagery to some of Bushnell’s GPS devices, DigitalGlobe announced Aug. 29.

The satellite imagery will provide Bushnell customers with a more accurate and realistic understanding of their location and the geography of their surroundings. The imagery will be part of an interface that combines layers of various data.

Bushnell’s users can access the image though their server system and download a satellite image, aerial photo or topographic map to their GPS devices. The service initially will be available on the Onix200, Onix200CR and Onix400 receivers.
