iDirect Integrates DTech VOIP System To Broadband Platform

iDirect Inc. and DTech Labs Inc. have integrated a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system over iDirect’s iNfiniti VSAT broadband platform, the companies announced Aug. 13.

DTech’s Whisper VoIP system provide users of iDirect satellite hubs and remotes with up to a 600 percent increase in VoIP call capacity over a single remote satellite link, the companies said. The system can also reduce the amount of bandwidth required to support standard VoIP traffic by more than 30 percent.
