SES Expands Monitoring Capabilities with Kratos’ Monics Enterprise

[Via Satellite 01-10-2017] SES has selected Kratos Defense & Security Solutions’ Monics Enterprise to expand Radio Frequency (RF) monitoring and interference detection capabilities across its fleet of more than 50 geostationary satellites. SES recently added Monics Enterprise to take advantage of features that better address an increasingly complicated interference monitoring and detection environment.

Kratos developed Monics Enterprise for satellite and network operators seeking to scale their RF monitoring capability to track an increasing number of RF signals, support a growing number of dispersed monitoring sites and keep pace with new technologies such as High Throughput Satellites (HTS). Monics Enterprise also offers a suite of monitoring capabilities that customers can add to an existing Monics implementation.
