[Via Satellite 08-24-2016] NovelSat has released its new NovelSat NS200X Multi-Rx Digital Video Broadcast-Satellite Second Generation (DVB-S2)-to-IP channel satellite demodulator. The NovelSat NS200X supports up to three plug-in modules, and can contain up to 24 demodulators in a single 1U box. NS200X units can also be concatenated to support several additional DVB-S2-to-IP streams.

For broadcast head-ends, the NS200X can scale to support up to 12 IP-to-IP Conditional Access Modules (CAMs) to descramble multiple encrypted TV channels. In addition, the NS200X offers signal conversion modules to support multiple output signals.

The NS200X has full interoperability with all other NovelSat modulators, modems and the NovelNet Network Management System (NMS). It is controlled and configured through a browser-based interface and uses a redundant power supply along with other redundancy mechanisms for operational stability.
