SSL Wins Undisclosed LEO Satellite Order

[Via Satellite 04-26-2016] Space Systems Loral (SSL) has received a contract from an undisclosed customer for a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite. Along with manufacturing the spacecraft, SSL will also provide the launch and will operate the satellite on orbit.
SSL has a manufacturing facility for small satellite production, and has ramped up its focus on this market following its successful contract with Skybox Imaging, now Terra Bella. In total, SSL has 21 LEO satellites under construction, 19 of which are for Terra Bella, and two remain undisclosed.
