SATELLITE 2016 Hosts SGx with the Space Generation Advisory Council

[Via Satellite 02-29-2016] The Access Intelligence Satellite Group, producers of the SATELLITE Conference and Exhibition, has expanded its partnership with the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) with the creation of the technology-focused SGx event on Monday, March 8 from 9:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m.
Hosted in partnership with the Future Space Leaders Foundation (FSLF) and SATELLITE 2016, SGx seeks to engage and intrigue the audience with fast-paced lightening talks that focus on story-telling rather than business pitches in order to communicate about technology in the satellite industry. The event brings together young professionals, experts in the industry and government leaders to discuss pressing issues and creative ideas in a new way. Speakers include representatives from Blue Origin, OneWeb, Arianespace and more.
Also at SATELLITE 2016, SGAC will host a mentorship program for its members on Wednesday, March 9 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with top leaders in satellite, learn from industry veterans and inquire about the future of the global marketplace. Following the mentoring program, all SGAC members are invited to SATELLITE 2016’s Awards Celebration and Reception at 6:00 p.m.
SATELLITE 2016 takes place from March 7 through 10 at the Gaylord National Convention Center in National Harbor, Md.
