NewSat Picks GMV for Jabiru 1 Flight Dynamics System

[Via Satellite 11-10-2014] NewSat has awarded GMV a contract to build the flight dynamics system for the upcoming High Throughput Satellite (HTS) Jabiru 1. The flight dynamics system determines the position and orientation of the satellite, and is necessary for orbital maneuvers.
NewSat recently completed the Critical Design Review of the flight dynamics system and is on track for system delivery and integration in 2015. Once in orbit, the Ka-band satellite will provide more than 7.6 GHz of capacity over the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
