Es’hailSat Taps SES for New Teleport Project

[Via Satellite 10-27-2014] Qatari satellite company Es’hailSat has entered a partnership with SES subsidiary SES TechCom for assistance building a new teleport north of the capital city of Doha. Through the comprehensive consultancy service agreement, Es’hailSat will be able to leverage the technical experience of SES as it seeks to develop domestic satellite communications infrastructure.
SES TechCom together with Es’hailSat’s project management team and associated contractors will collectively work on the new site.
Once completed, the new facility will provide satellite Tracking, Telemetry and Command (TT&C) for the Es’hail 2 satellite, along with up-linking and reception for business partners.
